Single Occupancy Rooms
Single rooms each include a twin bed, dresser, closet, desk, and chair.
The rate for a single room during the 2023-2024 school year is $8,200. This includes rent, 21 meals per week, laundry, and various other household conveniences.
The Newman House has seven single rooms available, four on the second floor and three on the third floor.
Double Occupancy Rooms
Double rooms include two twin beds, either two dressers or one extra-large shared dresser, three closets, and two desks with chairs.
The rate for a double room during the 2023-2024 academic year is $ 7,000. This includes rent, 21 meals per week, laundry, and various other household conveniences.
The Newman House has eight double rooms available, five on the second floor and three in the basement.
Bathrooms
The bathroom on the second floor has two standing showers, one tub shower, four stalls, and four sinks along a lighted vanity mirror. This bathroom serves all women residing on the second floor, which can range in number from nine to fourteen. Residents are welcome to leave their bathroom and shower items in personal bins on the shelves located in the bathroom. The bathrooms are cleaned weekly with a rotating chore schedule.
The third floor bathroom has one standing shower, one stall, and two sinks. This bathroom serves all women residing on the third floor, which can range in number from three to five. There are storage cubbies for residents to store their bathroom items. The shower in this bathroom was just replaced in 2017!
The basement bathroom has two standing showers, two stalls, and three sinks. This bathroom serves all women residing in the basement which can range in number from two to four.
