NEWMAN HOUSE

Life at the Newman House

The Newman House is a vibrant Catholic home for women attending the University of North Dakota. With a special focus on sisterhood, hospitality, and academic excellence, our goal is to be a place where women can connect, challenge each other, and grow together, forming friendships that will last a lifetime. By living out this mission, the residents of the Newman House seek to become more authentic witnesses of the Gospel and to continually grow into the women they were made to be. By living in community, you will have to opportunity to grow in love of your neighbor and care of one another.

Sharing meals, studying for exams together, praying the Rosary, and watching movies are a daily occurrence at the House.

“The Newman House really is a home-away-from-home at UND. The cozy atmosphere, vibrant community, and wonderful friendships have made me feel right at home while at college.”

- Anissa Kulzer, Senior

With events such as House Suppers, Murder Mystery Party, brunch, House Mass + coffee, Women’s Nights, and SO much more, there is always a social opportunity happening to fill your cup.

Take a look at our space!

As a community living option the Newman House is proud to have many places where residents and guests can relax, pray, study, and socialize. These spaces are a big part of what makes the Newman House more than just a place to live, it offers residents a chance to be part of something bigger than themselves.
