The Newman House is a Catholic living option for women attending the University of North Dakota. Through a charism of sisterhood, hospitality, and scholarship, we want to help you make your time at UND incredible and form friendships that will last a lifetime.
By living out this charism, the residents at the Newman House are and are becoming ever stronger and more authentic witnesses to the Gospel within the house, as well as the Newman Center and UND communities.

The Newman House was originally built in 1925 as a Delta Delta Delta Sorority House. When the national organization decided to close their UND chapter in 2006, questions arose about what would happen to the house. The Newman Center was able to purchase the house, including all of its furnishings and spent a year remodeling and bringing the house up to code. The Newman House hosted its first residents during the 2008-2009 academic year and has been working to provide a unique Catholic living option to women at UND ever since. For more information or to schedule a tour please contact our Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
